We hope that you're staying healthy and in good spirits. We've been closely monitoring the development of COVID-19 and have implemented all measures recommended by the CDC, county and state health authorities to keep our team, patients and our community safe.
In accordance with the Contra Costa County directives, we are resuming our dental services including preventative and elective care as of May 18th, 2020. We’ll initially be open a few days a week and will expand our hours as appropriate. If you have any concerns or questions about your next dental appointment, email us or leave a phone message. Your health and safety is our top priority. Annually, our staff completes strict infection control and OSHA training, which they diligently adhere to in addition to the recent measures outlined by the local, state and national health authorities.
Specific actions implemented by our office in response to COVID-19:
-All patients must wear a mask upon entering the office. The clinical staff is required to wear a N95 respirator and has been trained and fitted through our respiratory protection program.
-Disinfection of exposed/public surfaces multiple times a day with EPA registered products. Additional disinfection with HOCL fogger at end of day.
-Placement of medical grade air purification system throughout the office.
-Prescreening of patients over the phone a day prior to appointment and on the same day of appointment. Questionnaire includes: Covid exposure, travel, signs and/or symptoms ( fever, cough, changes in taste and smell ), and current medical history.
-Temperature reading of our staff and patients prior to performing dental procedures plus hand washing multiple times/day.
-Social distancing requirement: scheduling patients to be seen one at a time and allowing more time between appointments.
-Patients rinse with 1.5 % Hydrogen Peroxide prior to treatment.
- Contactless credit card payments.
